Venture Capital - Is That the Seed Round?

A lot of our listeners have no experience in venture capital, and so we're goin to break down some of our terms here. The way i think of it anyway, is some, some bright person has an idea. They need smbody to write them that first check. Is that the seed round? And is that how things start? A yes, it isad even it starts, actually, even a little bit earlier than that.
