HLTA Training - Is There a Difference?
I think most schools are either on Microsoft Office or Google. We only have many TAs, but one HLTA, so we don't necessarily see a divide in their development. The way that we will run it is that whilst during same-lane intervention, where teachers are working with pupils, some HLTA's may take some other pupils out and do a few little bits with them. What we do slightly differently is that on Friday, which is our celebration assembly, which tends to be a little bit longer, that assembly can be about half an hour,. Teachers go to that one, but HLTA and our whole TA stuff, they do not, and they get their training there.
