The desire for travel is so deeply rooted in human society now. We are going to find ways to do it - even if, as Marco says, it involves slow travel rather than taking lots of flights. For me, the most important is perspective: we live such short, brief lives and there is so much in the world that we don't know. And I think getting out into it and being reminded of that really matters.
