In the fire movement, we kind of define work as something you do for other people to make money so that you can then be free. But i think we need to change how we feel about work. We're going to do work probably from the moment we're conscious to the moment we die. When we let go of this idea that we work to make money for other people and just think of work more as an exchange of goods and services, we realize that s not about when you start or stop working. It's more about what type of work you do and how well it meets your sense of meaning and purpose.
