How Can ESL Teachers Adapt Their Teaching Style to Meet the Needs of Their Students?
In a lot of EFL school, you're allowed to use your first language in the classroom. I cannot do it because my students are usually non-Russian speakers and sometimes I have really low level students who might need to use gestures. They need to be very creative, especially when you explain some vocabulary that would be very easy just to say it but you really need to kind of find some other ways. So yeah, the transition wasn't so easy, but at the same time, you know, in terms of methodology and everything, it's pretty much the same.
