How Does Insect Pollination Really Take Off?

There are so many advantages to having that happen. Insect pollination really took off in flowers. And we think now that there was definitely insect pollination before flowering plants. Some insects like honeybees can fly 10 kilometers quite a ways and obviously bird and bat pollinators as well. Even lizards visit flowers to pollinate them. So you know, now you have gene mixing. You have rapid improvement from an evolutionary point of view.
