The Fundamental Repulsion to Inequality and Inefficiency
There was a whole body of political and economic thought, especially in the 19th century, confronting that basic, you know, injustice and inefficiency. And a lot of that body of thought has been lost or forgotten or kind of consigned to the dustbin of history. But I don't think it is because we're constantly destroying and excess while at the same time producing poverty. That contradiction alone seems like even if resources were infinite,. continuing to produce on the one hand poverty and on the other hand waste.
