The Origins of the Asian Youth Movement
The Asian youth movement was born so that we could defend ourselves. We believe that once we had established the right to live, we must live with dignity. This was a generation of Asians who were no longer prepared to accept their torment as inevitable. It was anti-fascist, anti-racist and anti-imperialist. These kids had a political ideology and they weren't afraid to share it.
