The film was like a massive success as we've talked about. It had a 60 million budget which is big for a vampire film and it made 225 million dollars. The main thing it really kicked off and as and lends to vampire films even today is this heartthrob vampire. And also i think that vampires can be played by massive stars or that massive stars can be involved in vampire movies.
