Preparation Is Like the Foundation of a Data Source

Scientists don't make preparators authors cause they say, you know, they didn't contribute to the science. They just made the data. So for example, if a we didn't have skilful preparators, there's lots of examples in history of palaeontology of specimens that were prepared by stone masons or by people who didn't really know what to expect and didn't have many skills. And those specimens are very difficult to study because they've been damaged or pieces are missing.
