In 2022, there was a systemic review looking at all the plant research with CRISPR-Cas9 technology and these new genetically the techniques. They found it varied from large to small genomic variations, chromo-thripsis, but they also found something else. And so in all of our case studies and reviews and studies that we looked at for this, only a tiny fraction used whole genomic sequencing to look at the downstream effects of this.
