The Indian Institutions Have a Lot of Autonomy

The Indian institutions have a lot of autonomy. UGC doesn't interfere with fixing the tuition fees of any university, be it state or private. It is their statutory bodies which will finally design the curriculum and syllabus. The National Education Policy also says that since foreign universities come here to set up their campuses, they should have complete autonomy as we are giving to our Indian universities.
