The Problem With HSM Enclaves
VLS is realizing that you end up pulling all of the lightning logic and all of the channel states inside the signer. That's the traditional HSM approach, right? You have a secure enclave, and this is more like complex HSM environments. And everybody stamps really for insurance, but it's full of holes still. The other issue is your stack is often the biggest problem. It's not the box that they actually did a good job securing it. It's the arbitrary code you're running inside the secure enclave.
