Neoliberals Get Frustrated With the Left
The default with no Western intervention is that countries are poor. International trade does in the case of factories, garment factories or other kinds of factories provide an alternative. Neoliberals see trade as something that helps both countries. Both countries end up in a richer, wealthier place overall because of international trade.
