Is the Fed Controlling Demand Side Inflation?
The market assumes that the Fed has perfect control and power over macro dynamics. But even Powell himself is admitting that they don't really have any map to go with on this. Supply side inflation has been just as bad, if not worse, than demand side. And it's hard to say how high rates or how long states will remain this high.
