The History of Coffee in Yemen

All the coffee that's commercially grown is grown in Yemen, and all the world's coffee is supplied from what becomes known colloquially as Mokheir. This is a big deal, because this is the foundations of the modern supply chain. You grow coffee, you put it on a ship, you sell it in another market. But this is absolutely the foundation of the modern Supply Chain up until really gone the 1700s. So we're talking from the 1550s to the 17th century.
