Brain computer interfaces allow people with paralysis or some physical disability to control computers and other devices with their thoughts. The technology works by detecting electrical signals from the brain and translating them into commands that can be used to control either a computer or a robotic device. Study participants were able to move their arms in hands with an average accuracy of 90%. We're talking about first generation. That's just remarkable.
