The Importance of Listening to God
The Hebrews came out of Egypt and were surrounded by pagan worship. They say, hey, the guy that sort of spoke for God, he's not here anymore. So we got to maybe get another God to give us some marching orders. And so they go to Aaron, sort of the first priest and say, one that should know better. He says, take the rings of gold that are in your ears of your wives, your sons and your daughters and bring them to me.
