And there are people of good will, widely disseminated, who are doing just that. I would also say that we are not able, like the psycho historians of simos trilogy, to predict the future. The future is open. So that by seeing the terrible threat now to the democratic future, that is in itself a dimension hope which we can pursue again in favor of renewal.
