The Unworthyness of the Eucharist
In Paul's letter here, he talks about eating the bread or drinking the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner. And if it was just a symbol, how could it be unworthy? He says not discerning the Lord's body. So there's dual symbolism that you're not receiving the lord's body and seeing your brothers and sisters in Christ but also not receiving the Eucharist.
