There are a couple of strategies you can use to try to figure out what would I need to think to produce the feeling I want to have. You figure out what you were thinking in a past time that you felt confident. And you see if you can use either the exact same thought or a similar thought. Another thing you can do is ask yourself, what is the opposite of thought I have now?
