Huerta and Ambassador Wilson

In 1913, Mexican President Huerta seized power with the help of U.S. ambassador Henry Lane Wilson. The new president Woodrow Wilson was appalled by the 10 tragic days and Ambassador Wilson's role in it. Dias protested this slowly unfolding betrayal, but he didn't have much of a stomach for a real fight because then Huerta made a final move. He appointed Porfirio Dias as special ambassador to Japan.
