Zofikar Adibuto's Demise

Zofikar Adibuto served first as Pakistan's president and then prime minister in the 70s. His turn in power ended in a mysterious plane crash 11 years later, believed to have been caused by a bomb concealed in a box of mangles. He was indicted by the country's high court for involvement in political murders, including that of Benazir Buto, the daughter of Zulfikar. Provesne was shot off became president through a military takeover but survived multiple assassination attempts.
