The Pejorative of Catholics
I remember when my uncle had a black person in that neighborhood. Oh no. Unthinkable. They were calling us Mackerel Snatchers, which was the pejorative for Catholics. It's the situation. Make sure you've why? Because we ate fish on Fridays. So, don't fail. I assume that's why. But they had, but one of my uncle ran and there was tremendous anti-Catholic prejudice because they thought the Pope would be running things at the White House. That was the big issue.
