In the i pay attention to things that capture my emotional states. There is this surge of primary emotion, even if i don't at first know that, oh, intrigue or joy is really what's emerging from me. And so we come to discover that emotion is crucial because it drives attention, which drives memory, which ive our anticipated future. The jews were ware that emotion was so important that they commit an entire book of the bible, poetry and song called psalms.
