Is Joy the Super Abundant Fruit of a Love Relationship?

Joy is a closer word, I think, to eudaimonia than happiness is or certainly than pleasure is. And it's connected to this concept in psychology called flow. When you're deeply immersed in some activity that you're good at, that you're enjoying, what can happen is you get into the state of what psychologists call flow where you sort of lose track of what's going on around you. The joy of that kind of experience of flow is something that comes almost as a byproduct. If you ain't directly at it, you won't get it. But it can be the result of engaging in activity thatyou're good at and creating value for others.
