World War I shattered belief in God and country. Then World War II, Christianity, or at least Christendom sort of failed on the Holocaust issue. The German churches overwhelmingly back-tibler. So then people concluded, okay, what we suspected was true from World War I is really true. How does that strike you? It strikes me as, as true.
