Technical Books, You Shouldn't Read It Cover to Cover

Don't try to focus on every word. If you're having a hard time with something just kind of move on, because maybe you'll see some other example or something later on to help you fill in the blanks. You skim through it the first time, highlight stuff of interest, and then go back through it a second time. Man, that sounds good for technical books. I don't know about for like reading for pleasure. Yeah, definitely not.
