"All all combat has to be driven by off of off of some kind of intel or it's just you know that's how you get," he says. "So i was like this is really their autonomy was just really uh like you said their ability to freethink and not be controlled by the big army system and so when i got back from that trip i i put in a packet and i went through that whole process which took about a year" He recalls being told Iraq wasn't gonna happen, but six months later they were there.
