The Parable of the Sower
Jesus spoke to his disciples in parables because they could not see or hear what he was telling them. He said, "Many prophets and righteous men longed to see what you see and did not see it" Jesus also explained that when anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what is sown in his heart.
