The Story of Sri Lankan Food
As an adult you started going back as well with kind of a different lens. You weren't just absorbing you were going there to look and to find things. In some ways my interactions in Sri Lanka always like filtered through the prism of my mum and dad. When I got to being my late 20s I was like I can't just ride on the coke deals of mum and dad man it's time for me to like grow up and have my own relationship with the place. And so I began to go back and to try and forge his own friendships and relationships there.
