The Importance of Asking the Right Questions
The church is making changes in those areas. They are allowing culturally appropriate music in different areas of the church now, and they're making an effort to stop forcing Latin American kids to play basketball. The thing that completely heightened this for me was a book about multiculturalism or introducing more multiculturalism into the church. It mentioned how the celestial room in every temple looks like a very wealthy upper class was sitting in the front great room. I can't tell you how much that made me chuckle because it was so true. You're richest neighbor's living room on the bench in Bountiful. But Utah, born and raised, white, democratic culture is going to become the church culture. Embrace
