The Importance of Locality in Architecture
The way you design and build a house in California might be very different than one in Brazil. Even seismic concerns, even you're building on the East Coast versus the West Coast building in California is very different because we have earthquakes. I think also culturally, if you're a mindful architect, you will want to kind of understand how do people live and work in those specific locations that are outside of where you usually operate.
