The Politics of Radical Psychiatry

A lot of the earliest radical psychiatry literature is about unshackling themselves from this neutral stance. The idea of making sure that they were forward facing and not just passive, really resonated with me when I got my hands dirty in the archives. So it's there, you know, in the 1950s, 1960s psychedelics are part of the standard legitimate practice. And so psychiatrists were prescribing certain drugs like Miltown or Librium to their patients.
