Stephen Besruchka is associate teaching professor emeritus at the University of Washington's School of Public Health. He launched the population health forum in 1998 and has a new book out called inequality kills us all. Studies show that conditions in early life, from the time you're conceived to your second birthday program about half of our health as adults.
