The Importance of Systematic Theology in Tough Text

People who only read the Bible are often most confused about what the Bible is saying. If you if you're not reading the scriptures through the like using a hermeneutical tool of long gospel, looking for the through line of Christ crucified for sinners throughout the whole thing, no, I don't think it's clear at all. But if you have those tools, you can't then you can't understand it. And so one of the things we do in tough text is it's not just identifying law in gospel, which is pretty easy to do except it's the most difficult thing to do because you're a sinner.
