Is Religion on the Decline in America?
christine, there's a lot of noise right now about religion being on the decline in the country. How does that fit into your larger sort of call that you have for us at the end of the book? I wrote about, was written about in a number of publications regarding this book. And i think many thought that during the sexual revolution, by taking religion out of the equation, has seemingly made us less happy and perhaps even less free than before. Maybe it's worth looking back to our traditions,. our religious faith our texts, our understandings of what the world looks like, and seeing what is valuable and true there too.
