The Dramatic Concerns About AI
There are all sorts of ways that AI capabilities exist today could do very, very bad things. There is good research happening in technical safety, but it's underfunded relative to the research pushing forward capabilities. I think people are right to be concerned about interpretability issues around AI systems because we've brought this upon ourselves many times with way, way, way simpler systems. It's not hard to see AI going the same way.
