The period of mourning officially ends the day after the funeral. Everything is pretty much back to normal in terms of events, he says. The BBC went into special news programming as soon as the word came out that there was great concern about the Queen's health. But I don't think they will show comedy programs until the period of mourning is over. There is still a great deal of coverage, which I think people are very glad to see.
