How Working at the LHC Was Astonishing

I've always wanted to ask someone that worked at the LHC, how was it like working there? Because I've been there once when it was working. It's a huge amount of planning and the people looking over the plan and reviewing things before you even start. You really were able to see how that, you could believe we're starting to get the detector operating. And then the challenge turned to figuring out what this data means.
