What's the Gate Fee?
When you get a deal with a big shop like that, you have like what's called a gate fee or you can get a marketing fee. So basically it means you give them a shitload of money, right? Because for example, when you go into Sainsbury's, there's wants to everywhere. Wants to repaying a lot of money to get that. I mean, it's not like it's not doing it in my favor. That's how it works in wholesale. It depends on how big you are and how successful you are,. but you basically have to pay to get that spot. And that's the gate fee. You're talking about potentially millions of pounds
