The Catholic Church Is Slowly Dying
Aging and disappearing congregations are prompting some church groups to cut masses. Others are offering new service. The number of practising catholics has fallen by a third in the last few years. A mass attendants, according to the church's own survey, was around 75 % in the 19 fifties,. Now it's just a little over ten per cent.
