How to Compress JPEGs and MPEGs in Real Time

Brotley is something that you can pre-compress and then it can be decompressed in real time. It's meant so that you can compress it ahead of time before you send it out whereas GZIP is often on the fly which is somewhat inefficient, good for APIs but bad for assets or not optimal for assets. On your lossy side, a lot of the times it's literally noise. So when you're looking at JPEGs and MPEGs  a lot of times the compression is either equivalent to the noise.
