Jeff Bezos was so persuasive that John Dora made time to join the board. This is before Google. We will definitely talk about Google in a minute, but he's a little busy. Jeff does two things after he raises the round from Kleiner. And this was seven million? Eight million. So so far in the lifetime of the company, he's raised nine million dollars. A little more than nine because there was the friends and family money, the Bezos family as a whole.

Amazon. No company has impacted the internet — and all of modern life — more than this one.
