What Is Copy Left?

The first and fundamental idea of open source is exactly that. This is the source. It is open. You can use it. You can sell it. And we have no claims against you for selling it. That's all Ryan says is modeled after, but make this not open source. So how does that play out for GNU?GNU's entire source code is freely available for me or anybody to use. I can sell it as is to anyone dumb enough to buy it from me. They could buy it from, you know, they could download it. Like you just can profit off it allyou want.
