The Importance of Volume Training in the Backcountry

The most common thing that I've seen would be volume and so volume in the real world in the backcountry is really really high. So we want them to get as prepared for that and see some adaptations happen in the gym before they go to the backcountry. That's a whole different concept than traditional programming where you're going to see like you know three sets of 10 or five sets of five but it definitely creates a better mountain athlete.
