The only time I've ever sold any meaningful amount was to buy our first Seattle house because I needed the capital for the down payment. The everything store is the canonical history of the first 20 years of Amazon. We actually talked to Brad Stone the other week when we were preparing for this.

Amazon. No company has impacted the internet — and all of modern life — more than this one. We’ve waited seven years to do this episode, and are so, so excited to finally dive into every nook and cranny of this legendary company.
