The Risks and Benefits of the Treaty on the Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons

The NPT is signed by virtually all states in the world. The North Koreans are the only state that withdrew from it. A large group of non-nuclear weapon states formed together and said, let's create a new treaty. And this treaty will make it illegal not just to use nuclear weapons, but to possess them, to acquire them. It united the nuclear states, all of whom said they would never sign this,. They will be permanent objectors, which means legally it can't become customary international law. So rather than what I was trying to do with that booklet about shared responsibility to work together towards nuclear disorder, you have now this one wing that says the NPT is fine;
