Dydx's Plan to Punish Validators Who Extract Mev From Their Blocks

Dydx is going to be punishing validators who extract mev through a metric that accurately and statistically measures mev per each validator using the execution price of fills in their blocks. This slashing mechanism isn't actually enshrined into the protocol it would be left up to either governance or I'm not really sure exactly who's going to be in charge of making these decisions around slashing. The general idea if I understand correctly is more so social consensus and making sure that the validators know that mev isn't going to be tolerated but nonetheless this is an insanely hard problem to solve there's a lot of different teams working on it.
