The Role of Legal Corruption in the Health Care System
I'm confident that there are alternative ways that we could design the system. I don't know that removing the kind of direct incentive for that institution to profit from the successful drugs so that they can reinvest in more drug research actually removes a great deal of the incentive to promote the drugs that they've invested in that seem to work. There may be some ways in which this sort of legal corruption is actually a net good for the country and for the world by spurring innovation in some way. If that's true, I would then...
